Born in Florida and raised in New Jersey, Mindy first made Houston her “home” in 1988. Mindy has an extensive educational background, which includes an Associates Degree from Lasell College in Newton, Massachusetts, a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Arizona and a Legal Assistant Certificate from Florida Atlantic University.
Before embarking on her real estate career, Mindy enjoyed an 18 year career as a Paralegal. Mindy’s most recent position was in the Legal Department for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, where she was responsible for reviewing and negotiating leases. As a Paralegal, Mindy greatly enjoyed the wide variety of people that she came into contact with, as well as having the opportunity to work on real estate related transactions.
After remodeling three homes Mindy realized she had a passion for homes and really enjoyed the interior design aspect of a home. Soon Mindy decided real estate would be an ideal new career for her.
Since Mindy and her family had made several moves of their own, she is able to draw on her and her family’s personal relocation experience to better understand the full gamut of emotions and challenges that her relocating clients face. As such, Mindy is very compassionate and does a great job at making her clients feel more at ease with the process.
Mindy currently lives in Meyerland with her husband and two children. Mindy’s children attend the neighborhood schools, where Mindy has successfully chaired many of the schools’ fundraising events. Mindy is proud to call Houston “home.”
