Maylis Curie was born in France, where she lived in the cathedral city of Amiens until the age of 19. She then moved to Scotland (UK) to complete her university education, and gained a Bachelor of Arts and an MA in English Studies, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in French and Education, before completing her PhD in History of Art.
She worked as a university tutor and as a translator, before doing research for a major British art museum. When her husband, whom she met in Scotland, was asked by his company to move to Houston, she seized the opportunity to train in real estate, a career she had dreamt about for years.
Being twice an expat herself, she very much enjoys helping international families, especially from France and the UK, to relocate to Houston. She loves living here and makes the most of what the city has to offer art and food-wise! She will be delighted to assist you in finding the home you want, and is very happy to answer queries from abroad. She is bilingual - French/English.
Her favorite hobby is digital SLR photography, and she has her own photo website. She also enjoys traveling to far-flung places and relaxing at home with her cats
